ASUS Republic of Gamers Launches Zephyrus M16 Laptop
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) is proud to launch its new Zephyrus M16 laptop, which comes with upgraded silicon from Intel®, NVIDIA® GPU, next-gen Intelligent Cooling improvements, and new display options. Power meets portability with a 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900HX processor and up to NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4090 GPU at 145 W Max TGP. Leaving you with power to multitask and have peak gaming performance with no tearing.
In addition to having exceptional performance, the new Nebula standard also provides a premium display with high specs in all fronts to deliver the best visual experiences no matter the task. With high pixel density, the Nebula HDR panel is able to create darker blacks and brighter highlights for stunning images that truly pop.
Also for the first time, the M16 will feature an AniMe Matrix™ display, that comes with 18,710 precision machined holes on the lid. This results in having animation displays look crisper and cleaner than ever before. For models without the AniMe Matrix™ LED array, the perforations are covered with Monochrome Film, allowing the lid to color shift with the light. The M16 exudes a sense of style and luxury not seen in standard gaming laptops.
Top-tier components for ultraportable gaming
Enjoy portability and versatility without sacrificing Windows 11 Pro gaming power. The 2023 Zephyrus M16 comes packed with up to an Intel Core™ i9-13900H processor, with up to 6 performance cores and 8 Efficient-cores, where AAA gaming and streaming becomes so effortless. It also comes with energy-efficient memory, boasting up to 32GB RAM and 2TB of storage. Leaving you to freely move and create, stream, and game wherever the mood strikes.
It’s also equipped with up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4090 Laptop GPU, with a maximum TGP of 145 W and a MUX Switch featuring NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. Increased power limits allow the card to boost higher for longer and pushes more performance while providing the highest framerates. With the MUX Switch featuring NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, the laptop can automatically route frames from the discrete GPU directly to the display using a MUX switch, and bypassing the integrated graphics. This improves performance by 5-10% compared to machines without a MUX Switch, making sure you get the absolute gaming experience – all without needing to touch a single button.
Beautiful new display with ROG Nebula HDR
The Zephyrus M16 are graced with Nebula HDR displays, powered by a Mini LED backlight with individual zones that can brighten and dim individually for stunning contrast. The 16-inch, 16:10 Mini LED panel provides incredibly deep blacks for content that jumps right off the screen, whether you’re watching a movie or playing a fast-moving arena shooter. On models without the Mini LED panel, the max brightness peaks at 500 nits, but both panels share QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, and all models share an incredible 92% screen-to-body ratio.
Design of Zephyrus M16
Built with gamers and creators in mind, the Zephyrus M16 has been redesigned from the ground up with an even more refined feel and upgraded performance. The new chassis design allows for a larger, full-width heatsink into the machine paired with ROG’s Tri-Fan Technology, which routes air from three fans through precisely calculated cutouts toward the heatsink for more efficient cooling. This allows the 2023 Zephyrus M16 to reach 20 W higher than last year’s model, allowing ROG to push the top-tier Intel Core i9-13900H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU as far as possible.
ROG pushed the craftsmanship to new heights on this year’s M16 as well, with a new mirror-polishing technique created with over ten steps of grinding on the sidewalls for a luxurious finish. It also uses an exclusive nano-sandblasting finish for fingerprint resistance.
Lastly, the Zephyrus M16 is the second laptop to ever feature ROG’s iconic AniMe Matrix™ Display. The 16-inch canvas of the M16 allows for larger, and more beautiful animations to shine through thousands of precision-milled holes in the lid of the chassis for a customizable one-of-a-kind look. This allows gamers to show off their creativity and unique flair wherever they go.
