Copilot+ PCs hit shelves today, powered exclusively by Snapdragon…
Battery life meets performance: You no longer have to decide which you value more in a PC. Copilot+ PCs hit shelves today, powered exclusively by Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus.
The wait is over. The Copilot+ PCs are available for sale today, currently powered exclusively by Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus Platforms. Retailers like Best Buy are stocked with these performance-packed, super-charged PCs with multi-day battery life. You can now achieve more, create more and engage more across your most-favorite apps — without lugging a brick around. The PC is reborn — and with it, the personal computing experience has been truly redefined. Go out and get yours today.
We used to call it the next generation, but it’s here now. And this new generation of Copilot+ PCs powered by Snapdragon X Elite are fundamentally changing how we interact with our PCs. Whether you’re an enterprise user or consumer, you can push the boundaries of what’s possible across productivity, creativity and entertainment with entirely new artificial intelligence (AI)-accelerated capabilities.
Not only has Snapdragon X Elite been built to enable these experiences, but it’s been optimized for these new workloads with all the benefits of running AI directly on the device, including increased responsiveness, more personalization, greater reliability and enhanced privacy.
These modern PC experiences require systems that provide the best performance without sacrificing battery life. A powerful but elusive balance that Cristiano Amon, president and CEO of Qualcomm Incorporated, explained as momentum was building during Computex in Taipei earlier this month.
A holistic view of power and performance
In other words, this is made possible with our groundbreaking Snapdragon X Elite, featuring the neural processing unit (NPU). The NPU is built from the ground up to run AI all the time, all day long, from on-demand use cases like image generation to those that run pervasively in the background.
But when you hear about TOPS performance, you’re only getting about a third of the story. Yes, really. Let’s break it down:
– First, it’s the NPU that matters most for AI since the CPU and GPU have other tasks to perform.
– It’s also about performance per watt. Our NPU delivers up to 5.4 times more performance per watt than other processors on the market.
What does that mean in practice? You can do more for longer, as Cristiano explained during Computex. Playing a video? You can do that for 60% longer on a PC powered by Snapdragon X Elite. You can also stay on your video calls for 70% longer and stream videos for twice as long.
Next-generation AI apps for your everyday
Snapdragon X Series-powered Copilot+ PCs are the ideal platforms for unlocking the full potential of next-gen AI apps for PCs. All the apps you use every day are here, including Office 365 Suite, Google Chrome, Spotify and Zoom. And you can experience them like never before with astounding performance. Snapdragon X Elite provides the fastest web browsing in its class.
All that said, there is a Copilot+ PC for everyone — and for every enterprise. Being able to use your PC across your favorite apps as much as you want without having to worry about battery life is now a reality. Time to celebrate launch day with a purchase. Check out your local Best Buy or major online and neighborhood retailer to get yours.
