Xiaomi Showcases Connected Intelligence @ MWC 2025

Xiaomi, a global leader in technology and innovation, announces its participation in the Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. This year, Xiaomi is set to showcase its upgraded “Human x Car x Home” smart ecosystem, revolutionizing how users interact with their devices through seamless connectivity and intelligent integration.

“At Xiaomi, our approach to innovation begins with people,” said Daniel Desjarlais, Director of Communications for Xiaomi International. “We design products with our users’ needs at the core, and our ‘Human x Car x Home’ smart ecosystem reflects this mission. We are shaping a new standard of connected intelligence by seamlessly linking personal devices, vehicles, and living spaces. At MWC, we welcome all attendees to explore how Xiaomi is redefining how we stay connected.”

On display at Xiaomi’s MWC 2025 booth are the newly launched Xiaomi 15 Series and Xiaomi Pad 7 Series powered by the new Xiaomi HyperOS 2, alongside a wide range of advanced AIoT devices and home appliances making their international debut. The Xiaomi Imagery Technology area offers a close look at integrating Leica’s legendary optics into Xiaomi smartphones, along with innovations pushing the boundaries of mobile imaging. In addition, Xiaomi proudly showcases its EVs, including the Xiaomi SU7 Max and the recently launched Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, which represent the pinnacle of performance and progress in Xiaomi’s journey toward smarter mobility.

A Future of Connected Intelligence
Over the past year, Xiaomi’s groundbreaking “Human x Car x Home” smart ecosystem has evolved into a realm of connected intelligence. By adapting to individual needs, this ecosystem leverages advanced technologies to anticipate, learn, and respond to user preferences, offering an intuitive and personalized experience. At the Xiaomi MWC25 booth, visitors can explore the Smart Living space to witness how personal devices, EVs, and a diverse array of AIoT devices work together to revolutionize modern living.

Xiaomi HyperOS 2, making its international debut, represents a significant leap forward in intelligent system design. Powered by Xiaomi HyperCore, this optimized foundation, developed by over 3,000 engineers analyzing more than 25,000 scenarios, features proprietary technologies like a microarchitecture scheduler, dynamic memory, and Storage 2.0. These innovations drive faster app launches, reduced power consumption, and smooth operation even in demanding scenarios. Interactions between devices have been enhanced by Xiaomi HyperConnect, featuring unique functions such as dual-camera streaming, “Home Screen+,” and effortless cross-platform compatibility.

Xiaomi HyperOS 2 takes a significant leap forward by introducing Xiaomi HyperAI, integrating advanced AI capabilities that transform productivity and creativity. Xiaomi HyperAI enhances everyday productivity with AI-powered writing tools that help users refine or expand text efficiently. At the same time, real-time translation and speech recognition breaks down language barriers and transcribe conversations with remarkable accuracy. On the creative side, Xiaomi HyperAI unlocks new possibilities with features like “AI Art” within Mi Canvas, which turns sketches into personalized artworks. AI Live Wallpapers and AI Cinematic Lock Screens bring dynamic visuals to life, whether it’s a joyful moment with family or a piece of stunning scenery.

Recognizing the growing importance of AI, Xiaomi has continued to strengthen its collaboration with Google by further integrating features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search, driving smarter, more personalized user experiences and positioning Xiaomi as a leader in intelligent, user-centric solutions for smart living.

Mobile Imaging Mastery and Exploring Beyond
Xiaomi has long been at the forefront of mobile imaging technology, consistently striving for excellence in this ever-evolving field. Since forming a strategic partnership with Leica in 2022 and jointly establishing the Xiaomi-Leica Optical Institute in 2024, Xiaomi has delved deeply into the essence of imaging, pushing the boundaries of mobile imaging technology while exploring the connection between photography and humanity.

The newly launched Xiaomi 15 Series embodies this vision. It integrates Leica Summilux lenses with advanced computational photography powered by Xiaomi AISP 2.0, driving significant advancements in imaging technology and setting new benchmarks for the mobile photography user experience.

In addition, Xiaomi is constantly looking to redefine industry standards. Xiaomi Modular Optical System, available for hands-on at the Xiaomi MWC25 Booth, is a new conceptual exploration from this ongoing pursuit. This concept camera system features a detachable 35mm f/1.4 equivalent prime lens integrated with a built-in M4/3 image sensor, which magnetically connects to a smartphone. Leveraging the new Xiaomi LaserLink Communication technology—an advanced optical communication solution—the system enables seamless data transfer between the camera and the phone. By combining traditional camera hardware’s superior imaging capabilities with smartphones’ computational power, Xiaomi has pioneered a groundbreaking approach to imaging technology.

EV Innovations and Record-Shattering Success
Xiaomi has made significant strides in its EV business, with EV revenue nearing RMB 10 billion and a gross profit margin of 17.1% by Q3 2024.¹ Xiaomi SU7 Series saw monthly deliveries exceed 25,000 units in December 2024, with over 135,000 vehicles delivered in 2024. Targeting 300,000 deliveries in 2025, Xiaomi is expanding its production capacity and sales network, now comprising 216 centers across 64 cities in China by January 2025.

In October 2024, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Prototype set a lap record of 6’46″874 at the renowned Nürburgring Nordschleife, earning the title “World’s Fastest Four-Door Car.” The consumer-ready Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is on display at the Xiaomi MWC25 Booth. It offers a close-up look at how it combines cutting-edge performance with style, designed to excel on both professional race tracks and urban streets.

Xiaomi’s achievements in the EV sector highlight its commitment to innovation, quality, and customer-centric growth, positioning the company as a formidable player in the automotive industry.

Xiaomi’s “Human x Car x Home” smart ecosystem strategy is designed to enable a low-carbon, efficient, and intelligent lifestyle while driving ESG innovation through advanced technologies. At its core, Xiaomi utilizes AI technology to optimize home appliances—by intelligently adjusting their modes in home environments depending on user behavior. Real-time monitoring and optimization ensures appliances run with minimal power consumption, delivering a smart, convenient, and eco-friendly living experience.

Xiaomi’s smart manufacturing system has achieved advanced automation in key areas, making significant progress in sustainability. At the Xiaomi EV Factory, the proprietary “Hyper Intelligent Manufacturing Platform” streamlines the entire production process, encompassing everything from management oversight to precise autonomous adjustments for optimization.
