It’s a portable device that packs desktop-level performance with its 8-channel ES9027PRO DAC chipset, high-power amplification section featuring six TI(Texas Instruments) Operational Amplifiers, and patented desktop mode for audiophiles who seek ultimate output. FiiO QX13 is powered by a desktop-grade flagship-level DAC chipset. It is equipped with an ESS Sabre Pro ES9027PRO DAC chipset. It is an 8-channel DAC widely renowned for its unmatched performance in processing high-fidelity audio signals. With this advanced DAC setup, QX13 achieves excellent SNR, DNR, and THD+N metrics. Combined with a 3rd generation 16-core XMOS XU316 USB processor and independent ultra-low noise phase femtosecond crystal oscillators, the QX13 supports professional-grade USB audio performance. It supports processing for high-resolution 32-bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512 audio signals, bringing you an exciting taste of true high-fidelity audio.
Another key attraction of the FiiO QX13 is its advanced amplification section. Professional engineers have designed the QX13 with six high-performance OPAMPs(Operational Amplifiers) from Texas Instruments(TI). We have dual OPA1692 chips in the pre-amp stage and four INA1620 for the post-stage amplification section. The QX13 is capable of producing strong output while maintaining minimal crosstalk and ultra-low distortion. It supports desktop mode with rated power output of 900mW per channel through the 4.4mm balanced output and 310mW through the 3.5mm single-ended output. FiiO has equipped the QX13 with dual Type-C ports, one for data and another for power input. When connected to high-power sources like Laptops, PCs, QX13 automatically increases the output power for stronger output.
At the core, FiiO has designed the QX13 with precise engineering. The DAC/AMP has independent digital and analog boards with independent shielding and isolation. This separate design for digital and analog sections ensures clean performance with excellent dynamics and consistent high-power output. Additionally, the QX13 has complete integration with the FiiO Control application. It allows for firmware upgrades, fine-tuning the output using 10-band PEQ, exploring digital filters, etc. FiiO QX13 has a solid build quality with its Formula 1 grade Carbon fibre body. It weighs just 33grams for the black colour with carbon fibre body. The titanium gold colour is made up of high-quality anodized aluminium alloy material, it weighs just 39 grams. The device also has a 1.99” colourful IPS display screen. FiiO also includes a magnetic leather case with a high-quality USB Type-C cable in the package of QX13.
