Huawei 5G Core Named “Leader” for the Seventh Consecutive Year
GlobalData, a leading consulting organization, released the 5G Mobile Core: Competitive Landscape Assessment report. In the report, GlobalData rated Huawei 5G Core as a “leader” for the seventh consecutive year and awarded it top scores in all dimensions of performance for two consecutive years, highlighting Huawei’s position as an industry frontrunner.
GlobalData stated that 5G has emerged as a key driver of the digital economy. Operators are accelerating the construction of 5G SA core networks to offer capabilities such as network slicing, industry-specific private networks, and autonomous networks, driving 5G business monetization and preparing for future network evolution.
In the report, GlobalData evaluates global 5G mobile core network solutions in eight dimensions: architecture, cloudification, performance, multi-media, network automation, evolution, solution maturity, and standards leadership. Huawei was rated a leader across all the dimensions, reflecting its sustained investment, strong product competitiveness, and significant contributions to the core network domain.
The report further underscores Huawei 5G Core’s leading competitiveness in areas such as stability, intelligence, cloud native, experience monetization, service innovation, and enterprise applications.
By leveraging a cloud-native, microservice-based elastic architecture, Huawei 5G Core delivers high stability and intelligence, enabling efficient software iteration and flexible deployment. This ensures stable network operations under heavy loads and uninterrupted services on the network.
In intelligent transformation, Huawei’s Intelligent Personalized Experience (IPE) solution helps dynamically guarantee network service quality based on user experience statistics in real time, propelling operators towards experience monetization.
In calling, Huawei’s Single Voice Core (SVC) solution supports voice services bridging generations, AI New Calling, and HD video services, delivering an optimal communication experience.
In the B2B field, Huawei 5G Core also showcases its powerful technical strengths and innovation capabilities, driving digital transformation across the industry.
Furthermore, Huawei has introduced the AI framework to the Telco Cloud for the first time, building the Telco Intelligent Converged Cloud (TICC) base for dynamic energy saving and AI service innovation.
At MWC 2025, Huawei launched the industry’s first AI core network, marking a transformative leap from AI-enabled infrastructure to AI-native infrastructure. The core network will be indispensable for building a future intelligent world.
Looking ahead, Huawei will continue to promote and apply the AI core network worldwide, driving the entire industry towards the intelligent world and bringing more intelligent, efficient, and personalized communication services to users.
