GMKtec EVO-X2: Bringing Supercomputing Power to Your Desktop
For years, AI supercomputing was something only the biggest labs, corporations, and universities could afford. If you wanted to train or run large-scale AI models, you had to rely on the cloud — sacrificing speed, privacy, and often spending a small fortune just to get access. But what if you could bring all that power right to your desk? That’s exactly what we set out to achieve with the EVO-X2.
A Leap in AI Performance
Imagine working with local AI models that are 2.2 times faster than an NVIDIA RTX 4090. With the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor at its core, the EVO-X2 makes this possible. It’s not just about speed — it’s about independence. The EVO-X2 supports massive local models, up to Qwen3 235B, that are ready to run the moment you power it on. That means no waiting for cloud servers, no risking data leaks, and no limits to how you use your own knowledge base. For researchers, creators, and even small businesses, this is a game-changer.
More Than Just AI
Of course, not every day is about pushing the limits of AI. Some days, you want to relax and game. Other days, you’re editing a 4K video or managing multiple projects at once. The EVO-X2 is built for all of it.
– As an AI workstation, it handles the largest local models effortlessly.
– As a gaming center, it delivers smooth, high-performance gameplay backed by advanced thermal cooling.
– As a mobile workstation, it brings workstation-class power in a form factor that doesn’t tie you down.
Designed for Real Users
Every detail of the EVO-X2 was made with the user in mind:
– Looks good, works smart – The Super Dimensional Intelligent Core design blends technology with aesthetics, while recycled aluminum ensures a greener footprint.
– Works the way you do – Choose between Burst Mode, Balanced Mode, or Power Saving Mode depending on the task.
– Grows with you – With a unique quick-release design and support for two M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSDs, expanding storage has never been easier.
– Keeps its cool – A triple-fan system with oversized heat pipes and a 16-mode intelligent fan keeps performance smooth and quiet, even under heavy workloads.
– Connects everything – From multi-display setups with four 4K monitors to blazing 40Gbps USB4 transfers, the EVO-X2 is built to keep up.
Why It Matters
The EVO-X2 isn’t just another desktop. It’s about giving supercomputing power back to the individual. Whether you’re exploring AI, building your next big project, gaming with friends, or running demanding creative workflows — the EVO-X2 ensures you have the performance, security, and reliability to do it all. The future of AI supercomputing isn’t in the cloud. It’s right here, on your desk.
