Minisforum M1 Pro Mini PC – AI Power Unleashed

CPU and GPU Performance
The M1 Pro 285H is equipped with an Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 Processor 285H CPU and integrated Intel® Arc™ 140T GPU. Here are their key specifications and performance traits, along with their pros and cons.
Intel® Core™ Ultra 285H
It has 16 cores and 16 threads, a main frequency of up to 5.40GHz, and 24MB L3 cache. Supports DDR5-6400MHz memory (default configuration is 5600MHz) with a maximum capacity of 128GB. These specs are already extremely powerful for a mini PC. The Ultra 9 285H delivers strong single-core performance, handles daily workloads with ease, and shows excellent multi-threaded performance.
Intel® Arc™ 140T GPU
The Arc™ 140T GPU delivers up to 77 TOPS of AI performance (overall AI performance can reach 99 TOPS). Based on Intel’s latest Xe architecture, it is a high-frequency, high-performance integrated GPU with 8 Xe cores and a dynamic frequency of up to 2.35 GHz. It supports modern graphics APIs, hardware-accelerated encoding/decoding for multiple video formats, and Ray Tracing. As an integrated GPU, the Arc 140T ranks among the top: it can handle many medium-level graphical tasks such as 1080p gaming, AAA titles at low/medium settings, graphic design, and video editing. For high-quality 4K gaming or heavy ray tracing at high frame rates, however, an external GPU is preferable. Luckily, the M1 Pro 285H supports OCuLink, enabling connection to an external graphics card for a significant performance boost.
Overall, the Arc 140T raises the bar for integrated graphics by making “light gaming + creative work + daily tasks” much smoother, though it still cannot fully replace a dedicated GPU in extreme scenarios.
