The PITAKA “Weave Our World” Design Challenge Is Now Live
For PITAKA, weaving is not just a technique. It is a language of structure, rhythm, culture, material, and imagination. Known for combining aeronautical-grade aramid fiber with advanced weaving craftsmanship, PITAKA now opens the creative process to the global community, asking participants to imagine new patterns and textures for its phone and tablet cases.
The challenge encourages creators to explore inspiration from nature, geography, architecture, cultural heritage, global traditions, technology, future materials, and new forms of visual order. Entries may take the form of digital renders, hand-drawn sketches, woven structure studies, material experiments, or conceptual design explorations.
Each participant can submit up to three original works during the challenge period. The submission and popularity voting stage begins on April 24, followed by expert jury review on May 26, data verification on June 1, and prize distribution on July 10.
With “Weave Our World,” PITAKA is turning product design into a shared creative conversation. It is more than a competition; it is an invitation to see the world through threads, patterns, textures, and ideas.
Creators who believe design can connect cultures, materials, and imagination are invited to join the PITAKA Community and submit their work.
Join now here and let the world see the thread in your hands.
