Softears SE6 Live: 6BA Studio IEMs Crafted for Professionals
Softears SE6 Live houses a sophisticated six-balanced armature driver configuration on each side. This advanced architecture is controlled by a highly precise four-way crossover system with three independent acoustic tubes. The driver distribution is expertly allocated to ensure a clean and defined sound response. Dual BA drivers are dedicated to deep, impactful lower-end. Dual BA promise a clean and detailed midrange, one full-range BA ensures a cohesive sound profile, and one specialized BA is tasked with high-frequency transparency. Softears has implemented these drivers with careful study to ensure an immersive sound delivery.
The SE6 Live features Softear’s innovative Bus Impedance Control Technology. This system optimizes the overall impedance characteristics of the pair, ensuring seamless integration between the different frequency sections. Softears has also featured a dedicated RC crossover network and high-precision capacitor filtering to further enhance the sound signal in a smooth, high-dynamic output with ultra-low distortion.
Softears has designed the SE6 Live with both style and functionality in mind. The ear shells have an ergonomic shape, ensuring long-wearing comfort, and they are colour-coded in trendy Blue and neon Purple. This allows the users to distinguish between the left and right sides quickly. The shells look aesthetically pleasing and promise a comfortable fit. Softears bundles the SE6 Live with a high-purity Furukawa PCUHD silver-plated copper cable. It features 7N OFC silver-plated shielding and a gold-plated 3.5mm brass termination plug. The cable is designed for low internal resistance and maximum signal integrity. The pair adopts standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors to ensure the IEMs are compatible with aftermarket cables as well.
