ROYIBEILA P36S, Affordable Retro Gaming Power in a Perfect 4:3 Handheld
The first thing that immediately stands out is the classic 3.5-inch IPS display with a sharp 640×480 resolution and authentic 4:3 aspect ratio. This screen format feels perfectly tailored for retro gaming, especially for arcade classics, PlayStation titles, NES, SNES, GBA, Neo Geo, and many other legendary systems. The IPS OCA full-fit panel delivers vibrant colors, strong viewing angles, and crisp visuals that make pixel art games look fantastic while preserving their original style and proportions.
Powered by a quad-core ARM 1.2GHz high-performance chip alongside the Mali-400 MP2 GPU, the P36S is designed to handle a huge variety of classic gaming systems smoothly and efficiently. From MAME arcade games to PlayStation classics and even Nintendo DS titles, the handheld offers a surprisingly capable emulation experience for its price category. The open-source Linux operating system also provides flexibility for enthusiasts who enjoy customizing their retro gaming setup.
The ergonomic design is another major highlight. Its compact body size combined with dual analog sticks, responsive controls, and comfortable grip makes long gaming sessions far more enjoyable than many smaller retro handhelds currently on the market. The 4:3 display layout complements the design beautifully, creating a nostalgic gaming experience that feels both modern and familiar at the same time.
Battery life is equally impressive for a portable console in this segment. The built-in 3000mAh battery can provide up to 8 hours of gameplay, while fast Type-C charging allows the device to recharge fully in around two hours. Support for TF cards up to 256GB also means players can carry an enormous retro gaming library anywhere they go.
Available in black, orange, and white color variants, the ROYIBEILA P36S combines affordability, portability, and surprisingly capable hardware into one highly appealing retro gaming package. Whether you are discovering classic games for the first time or revisiting childhood favorites, this handheld offers excellent value and an authentic retro gaming experience without breaking the budget.
For retro gaming fans searching for a compact Linux-based handheld with a proper 4:3 display, strong emulator support, and excellent everyday usability, the new P36S stands out as one of the best value portable consoles currently available.
