AOOSTAR GOD Series Steam-Style Mini Gaming PCs
Meet the AOOSTAR GOD Series
The AOOSTAR GOD Series gives gamers two compact mini gaming PC options:
| Model | Positioning |
|---|---|
| GODY | Performance pick for users who want stronger CPU and GPU power |
| GODZ | Value pick for users who want dedicated Radeon graphics at a lower entry price |
GODY is designed for users who want a stronger compact gaming PC, while GODZ is built for gamers who care more about value and flexibility.
GODY Benchmark Results
To better understand GODY’s performance, we tested a GODY unit equipped with AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX and Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics.
| Test | Result |
|---|---|
| 3DMark Time Spy Score | 10,309 |
| Time Spy Graphics Score | 10,027 |
| Time Spy CPU Score | 12,272 |
| 3DMark Fire Strike Score | 26,650 |
| Fire Strike Graphics Score | 29,190 |
| Fire Strike Physics Score | 34,056 |
| Fire Strike Combined Score | 13,468 |
| Cinebench R23 Multi-Core | 23,747 pts |
| Cinebench R23 Single-Core | 1,862 pts |
| CPU-Z Single Thread | ~720 pts |
| CPU-Z Multi Thread | ~10,190 pts |
According to 3DMark’s estimated game performance, this GODY test unit is projected to reach 95+ FPS in Battlefield V at 1440p Ultra in Time Spy and 100+ FPS in Battlefield V at 1440p Ultra in Fire Strike. These are synthetic benchmark estimates, not direct in-game benchmark results, but they help show the performance level of the hardware.
Stress Test and Thermal Performance
During FurMark and FPU stress testing, the GODY test unit showed stable sustained performance under heavy load.
| Stress Test Data | Result |
|---|---|
| FurMark FPS | 120 FPS |
| FurMark Test Resolution | 1920 × 1061 |
| GPU Usage | 100% |
| GPU Global Temperature | ~68–71°C |
| GPU Hot Spot | ~92–95°C |
| VRAM Temperature | ~78–82°C |
| CPU Package Temperature | ~87–89°C |
These results show that GODY can maintain high GPU load during stress testing while keeping the main GPU temperature around the low 70°C range. The hot spot and CPU temperatures are higher under combined stress load, which is normal for compact high-performance systems, but they should be clearly communicated as stress-test conditions rather than normal gaming temperatures.
Why Choose a Steam-Style Mini Gaming PC?
Steam Machine is appealing because it offers an official SteamOS experience. However, AOOSTAR GOD Series gives users more flexibility. With a mini gaming PC, users can choose Windows, Steam Big Picture Mode, or a Linux gaming setup such as Bazzite. They can also choose their own RAM, SSD, and operating system depending on budget and use case. Choose GODY if you want stronger performance and tested Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics. Choose GODZ if you want a more affordable compact gaming PC with dedicated Radeon graphics.
Final Thoughts
Steam Machine has made compact PC gaming exciting again, but it is not the only way to enjoy Steam-style gaming at home. For gamers who want more control over hardware, software, upgrades, and budget, the AOOSTAR GOD Series offers a flexible mini gaming PC path. GODY delivers stronger tested performance, while GODZ gives users a more value-focused option. Disclaimer: Steam, SteamOS, Steam Deck, and Steam Machine are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
