Tanchjim Ola II Coaxial Hybrid IEMs
Succeeding the highly acclaimed original OLA, the Ola II steps up its internal acoustic design by moving to a hybrid dual-driver setup. Tanchjim has implemented a coaxial arrangement that pairs their next-gen 10mm DMT5 dual-magnetic dynamic driver with a PURE Hi ultra-high-frequency balanced armature driver. The DMT5 coaxial design is hugely optimized using Finite Element Analysis(FEA) technology to perfect diaphragm movement and control the sound waves movement. The pair delivers a fast, punchy lower-end with a rich midrange section. The Pure Hi BA driver is strictly dedicated to delivering wide extensions in the ultra-high frequency band. It adds airiness and overtone extensions without muddying the lower frequencies. Tanchjim Ola II is priced attractively at just $56.99.
The pair is designed with a Helmholtz large resonator rear cavity and an external air-pressure relief vent that prevents physical ear fatigue and ensures comfortable wearing experience without vacuum feeling. Tanchjim Ola II is available in three termination options, 3.5mm, 4.4mm, and Type-C. The Type-C version features an advanced built-in DSP(Digital Signal Processor) capable of 32Bit/384kHz PCM processing and also enables an expansive 8-band PEQ through the Tanchjim application. Tanchjim Ola II retains the distinctive square and round ergonomic faceplate design of the OG Ola. The face panels are built with aerospace-grade CNC-machined aluminum alloy material. The inner cavity here is transparent, giving the users a good look at the intricate internals. Equipped with 0.78mm 2-pin connectors, the Ola II supports an easy cable-swappable design. Enthusiasts can try some cable rolling and notice the differences with the Ola II. Grab the Tanchjim Ola II today, the pair starts at just $56.99.
