ONEXFLY APEX Air Launches with Intel Arc G3 Extreme

Intel Arc G3 Extreme Performance at Up to 45W
At the heart of the ONEXFLY APEX Air is the new Intel Arc G3 Extreme platform, paired with 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD in the currently listed configuration. The system is designed to deliver strong graphics and computing performance while operating at up to 45W TDP. ONEXPLAYER positions this model as an efficient, self-contained handheld that does not require external cooling hardware, making it better suited to gaming while travelling, commuting or relaxing away from a desk. Intel’s new platform also brings improved power management and support for modern AI-assisted workloads. This should allow the APEX Air to handle demanding PC games, entertainment, emulation and everyday computing while maintaining a better balance between performance, heat and battery consumption.

Premium 8-Inch 120Hz Gaming Display
The ONEXFLY APEX Air features the same flagship-oriented 8-inch gaming display used across the APEX series. With a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, the screen is designed to provide smoother motion, more responsive controls and a more immersive experience in fast-paced racing, action and competitive games. Adaptive-Sync technology helps coordinate the display refresh rate with the rendered frame rate, reducing visible tearing and stuttering during gameplay. The larger 8-inch format also provides considerably more visual space than many compact handheld consoles, making game interfaces, subtitles and Windows applications easier to view.

Large, Swappable 85Wh Battery
One of the most distinctive APEX-series features is its 85Wh removable battery. The high-capacity battery is designed to support longer gaming sessions, while the swappable construction allows users to replace the battery rather than waiting for the handheld itself to recharge. A dedicated charging solution can charge a spare battery separately, potentially allowing one battery to be used while another is prepared for the next session. Users can also remove the battery and operate the handheld directly from its power adapter. This plug-in mode reduces the device’s handheld weight and is particularly useful during longer gaming sessions at home or in a hotel room.

Ergonomic Controls Made for Extended Gaming
ONEXPLAYER has shaped the APEX Air around a curved ergonomic grip intended to provide better palm support during extended play. The layout includes full-size gaming controls, RGB-accented analogue sticks and adjustable feedback options. The APEX platform also introduces dual-stage adjustable Hall-effect triggers. Players can switch between a shorter trigger movement for rapid response in shooters and a longer, more progressive movement for racing games where precise throttle control is important. Adjustable dual vibration motors provide customisable feedback, while the integrated fingerprint reader allows the Windows handheld to wake and unlock with a single press. Harman-tuned stereo speakers are also included for clearer dialogue, stronger positional audio and a more immersive portable gaming experience.

Expandable Dual-SSD Storage
Large modern games can quickly consume hundreds of gigabytes, so ONEXPLAYER has equipped the APEX platform with a flexible dual-storage design. Alongside its internal M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD, the handheld includes an external Mini SSD expansion bay. This makes it possible to expand the game library without immediately replacing the primary drive, while also providing a practical way to separate games, applications, media and AI-related files. The ONEXFLY APEX Air is currently listed with an Intel Arc G3 Extreme, 32GB RAM and 1TB storage configuration. The available package also includes a complimentary protective bag and stand.

A More Efficient Route to the APEX Experience
The ONEXFLY APEX Air shares the most important features of the flagship APEX platform, including the 8-inch 120Hz screen, replaceable 85Wh battery, ergonomic grip and expandable storage, but places greater emphasis on efficiency and completely portable operation. For players chasing the highest possible power envelope, the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388 version can operate at substantially higher TDP levels and can be paired with the optional Frost Bay liquid-cooling accessory. The Intel-powered APEX Air instead offers a cleaner all-in-one configuration, operating at up to 45W without requiring an external cooling module. The result is a premium Windows gaming handheld aimed at users who want serious performance, a large high-refresh display and long-term hardware flexibility in a device that remains practical to carry.

The ONEXFLY APEX Air is now available through the official ONEXPLAYER Store. Buyers should select the APEX Air – Intel Arc G3 Extreme 32GB+1TB configuration on the product page to view the latest price and availability.
