Your New Mobile Shooting Companion Is Here: SmallRig FS-A1

Its versatility extends far beyond magnetic mounting. The clever 3-in-1 construction quickly transforms into a compact tabletop tripod, an adjustable desktop phone stand or a practical selfie stick, allowing the same accessory to adapt to almost every shooting scenario. Whether you’re streaming from your desk, recording recipes in the kitchen, filming fitness routines at the gym or taking group selfies while travelling, the FS-A1 adapts in seconds.

One of its smartest additions is the hidden folding hook, which turns the support into more than just a phone holder. While recording at the gym, you can conveniently hang a water bottle or towel directly from the support, keeping your essentials close at hand. It’s a small feature that makes a surprisingly big difference during everyday use.

Mobility was clearly a priority throughout the design process. The integrated carabiner hook allows the folded support to clip directly onto a backpack, camera bag or belt loop, ensuring it’s always within reach without taking up valuable space. Since the accessory folds into a compact package, it easily slips into a pocket and is ready whenever inspiration strikes.

Flexibility is equally impressive. Three folding hinges combined with a rotating swivel joint provide extensive positioning freedom, including 360-degree rotation, smooth tilt adjustment and instant switching between portrait and landscape orientation. Whether you’re creating vertical content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts or recording traditional horizontal videos, changing orientation takes only a moment without interrupting your workflow.

The included attachable magnetic sticker expands compatibility to virtually any smartphone, allowing devices without built-in magnetic mounting systems to enjoy the same secure attachment. Combined with the integrated 1/4″-20 threaded mount, the FS-A1 can also be attached to tripods and other photographic accessories whenever additional stability or more advanced camera positioning is required.

The real strength of the SmallRig FS-A1 lies in how naturally it fits into everyday life. It becomes a desktop stand during work hours, a magnetic filming assistant in the gym, a selfie stick while travelling, a compact tripod for video calls and a creative mounting solution wherever conventional supports simply cannot go. Instead of carrying multiple accessories, creators can rely on one lightweight, highly adaptable tool that continuously finds new ways to simplify mobile photography and videography.

For anyone serious about smartphone content creation—or simply looking for a smarter way to use their phone hands-free—the SmallRig FS-A1 Foldable Phone Support with Attachable Sticker delivers an elegant combination of portability, versatility and thoughtful engineering. It proves that sometimes the most useful filmmaking accessory isn’t the biggest piece of gear, but the one that’s always ready to help you capture the perfect shot wherever creativity takes you.
