FiiO Unveils Air Amp ES9020Q Streaming DAC
The Air Amp packs a highly-efficient Class-D power amplifier. FiiO has featured the high-performance TI TPA3255 Class-D amplifier chipset as the main amplification chip on the Air Amp. Out of the box, it delivers a robust 120W per channel at 4Ω using the included 48V/5A power supply. For users with demanding passive bookshelf or floor-standing speakers, the system supports a 48V/10A power upgrade, unlocking a staggering 200W of pristine driving force. Enhanced with advanced Post-Filter Feedback (PFFB) technology, the Air Amp ensures load-independent sound delivery with incredibly low distortion.
FiiO has equipped the Air Amp with a high-performance ESS ES9020Q DAC chipset. It is combined with a powerful XMOS XU316 16-core USB processor chipset that enables high-resolution PCM and DSD signal processing. The Air Amp supports ultra-high-resolution decoding for PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD512, ensuring master-class precision from digital-to-analog conversion.
The FiiO Air Amp is a true modern powerhouse, packing a comprehensive wireless streaming suite into its sleek footprint. It offers seamless integration for AirPlay, QPlay, and is fully Roon Ready, allowing users to cast uncompressed audio effortlessly over their home network.
