See What’s Next from Ulefone at IFA 2026

IFA Berlin is once again preparing to become one of the most important meeting points for the global consumer technology industry, and Ulefone is heading to the 2026 edition with considerably more than a conventional smartphone showcase. From September 4 to September 8, 2026, Ulefone and RugOne will welcome visitors at Booth H3.2-137, Messe Berlin, where the companies plan to unveil a new generation of rugged smartphones, professional mobile tools, wearables, accessories and even Mini PCs. The emphasis this year is clearly on expanding what a rugged device can actually do. Instead of durability being the final objective, Ulefone is increasingly treating rugged hardware as a platform for specialized technologies such as laser distance measurement, thermal imaging and professional accessories.

Ulefone at IFA 2026 – Event Details
Visitors attending IFA 2026 can find Ulefone and RugOne at:
Dates: September 4–8, 2026
Booth: H3.2-137
Venue: Messe Berlin
Address: Messedamm 22, 14055 Berlin, Germany
The booth itself will bring the two brands together, with Ulefone concentrating on its expanding rugged-device ecosystem while RugOne continues developing its more specialized outdoor and exploration-oriented portfolio.

A New Generation of Ulefone Armor Devices
The Armor Series remains central to Ulefone’s IFA presence, but the 2026 generation promises to push the concept significantly further. One of the most interesting products scheduled for the show is what Ulefone describes as its most advanced laser rangefinder rugged smartphone to date. Rather than requiring a separate measuring tool, the concept integrates professional ranging functionality directly into a rugged smartphone. Ulefone has not yet revealed all of the specifications, which makes the IFA unveiling particularly interesting. The company says several new Armor products will be introduced, combining technologies including laser ranging and thermal imaging. This direction makes considerable sense for the Armor family. Rugged phones are frequently used by construction workers, engineers, technicians, outdoor professionals and people working in environments where carrying several separate pieces of equipment is inconvenient. Integrating specialist tools directly into the handset could make the smartphone much more than a communication and computing device.

Thermal Imaging Is Coming to the Armor X Series
Thermal imaging has traditionally been associated with Ulefone’s more specialized rugged devices, but IFA 2026 will also see the technology move into another part of the company’s portfolio. Ulefone says it will introduce the first thermal-imaging model in the Armor X Series. The significance here is accessibility. Rather than positioning thermal imaging exclusively as a premium professional feature, Ulefone wants to make the technology available to a broader group of rugged-phone users. Depending on the final hardware and pricing, such a device could become particularly interesting for maintenance inspections, electrical troubleshooting, building diagnostics, outdoor exploration and other situations where identifying temperature differences can provide useful information.

The Armor Watch Family Is Expanding
IFA 2026 will not be exclusively about smartphones. After introducing its first rugged smartwatch, the Armor Watch Pro, in January 2026, Ulefone is preparing to reveal the second product in the Armor Watch Series at the Berlin show. It represents another piece of a much larger strategy. Ulefone increasingly appears interested in building an interconnected outdoor technology ecosystem rather than simply selling standalone rugged smartphones. A rugged smartwatch naturally complements that approach, especially for hiking, camping, field work, sports and environments where constantly removing a smartphone from a pocket or equipment bag is impractical.

Ulefone Mini PCs Are Coming to IFA
Perhaps the biggest departure from Ulefone’s traditional product categories will be its Mini PC Series. The company confirms that Mini PCs will be showcased at IFA 2026 as a new component of the Ulefone ecosystem, extending the brand beyond smartphones and wearables into computing. That makes these machines particularly worth watching. Ulefone has yet to disclose the complete specifications of the Mini PC lineup on its IFA event announcement, so questions surrounding processor choices, memory configurations, storage expansion, connectivity and pricing remain unanswered. However, entering this category potentially gives Ulefone an entirely new platform around which to develop compact computing solutions for homes, offices and professional environments.

More uSmart Professional Accessories
Ulefone’s uSmart ecosystem will also receive attention in Berlin. The modular accessory concept allows compatible Ulefone devices to work with specialized peripherals, and the company says that additional professional-grade uSmart accessories will be shown during IFA 2026. Combined with thermal imaging and laser measurement, this is perhaps the clearest indication of where Ulefone sees the future of rugged mobile hardware: devices designed not simply to survive difficult conditions, but to perform practical jobs once requiring dedicated equipment.

RugOne Takes the Stage
RugOne will have a particularly important presence alongside Ulefone. The exploration-focused brand made its global debut at IFA 2025 with the Xever 7 Series, emphasizing outdoor technology, repairability and sustainability while introducing an unusual swappable-battery architecture. One year later, RugOne is returning to Berlin with its own dedicated RugOne New Product Launch Event 2026. And this will not simply be another opportunity to display existing hardware. Ulefone confirms that two new RugOne products will officially launch during the event, with exclusive product information and announcements being revealed there for the first time.

RugOne New Product Launch Event 2026
The dedicated launch takes place on Saturday, September 5, directly at Booth H3.2-137. Registration runs from 14:00 to 14:30, followed by the main Brand Presentation and Product Launch from 14:30 to 15:00. A group photo and video session is scheduled for 15:00–15:05. Senior representatives from Ulefone and RugOne are expected to participate in the presentation, discussing the brands’ latest developments and introducing the new products. That makes September 5 the date to watch for anyone particularly interested in RugOne’s next-generation hardware.

RugOne Has Already Shown How Different Its Approach Can Be
RugOne’s recent products provide a useful indication of how unconventional its upcoming devices could become. At MWC 2026, the brand presented the Xsnap 7 Pro, built around a detachable magnetic action-camera concept. Its independent thumb-sized camera module can be removed from the smartphone and used for hands-free or POV recording, while the phone acts as the control, viewing and charging hub. Ulefone previously detailed hardware including a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8400 5G platform, large battery and magnetic mounting ecosystem. Meanwhile, RugOne has continued developing its swappable-battery concept through the Xever family. That history makes the two products scheduled for the September 5 launch particularly intriguing. For now, however, Ulefone is deliberately keeping their identities and complete specifications under wraps.

More Than a Rugged Smartphone Exhibition
Taken together, Ulefone’s plans for Berlin demonstrate how much the company’s portfolio is changing. Smartphones remain at its core, but the IFA 2026 lineup extends across laser rangefinder phones, thermal-imaging devices, rugged smartwatches, Mini PCs, uSmart professional accessories and RugOne exploration technology. There is a common thread connecting these products: specialization. Instead of competing solely through conventional smartphone specifications, Ulefone is focusing heavily on hardware capable of performing tasks that mainstream phones generally cannot. For professionals, outdoor enthusiasts and users working in demanding environments, that could ultimately be more useful than another incremental increase in benchmark performance.

IFA 2026 Could Be One of Ulefone’s Most Important Shows Yet
Ulefone’s appearance at IFA 2026 looks considerably more ambitious than a simple refresh of its existing rugged smartphone lineup. The arrival of its latest laser rangefinder handset and a more accessible thermal-imaging Armor X device should broaden the practical capabilities of its smartphone portfolio. The second Armor Watch expands the wearable ecosystem, while the new Mini PC family takes Ulefone into an entirely different technology segment. RugOne adds another layer to the story. With two new products scheduled for their official debut on September 5, the company’s booth should be one of the more interesting destinations at IFA for visitors interested in unconventional mobile and outdoor technology. There are still important details waiting to be revealed — particularly exact product names, specifications, availability and pricing — but that is precisely what makes the upcoming Berlin event worth following.

IFA 2026 runs September 4–8 at Messe Berlin, with Ulefone and RugOne located at Booth H3.2-137.
