Introducing Shanling M8T Cu and UA7 Cu
New limited editions are being released for two of our popular models, for the first time bringing copper construction to Shanling Audio.
Both models feature a full copper alloy main chassis, with a rich red copper finish and a durable anti-oxidation protective layer. Delivering a new stunning look, with a much smoother feel than their basic aluminium versions and a significantly denser impression when held in hand.
While the internal components stay the same, switching to full copper construction brings a range of interesting changes to the sound of both M8T and UA7. With the increased density and improved shielding, the sound of both devices gets a bit warmer, overall richer sounding, while delivering darker backgrounds and a slight increase in dynamics. When combined with the tube outputs, M8T Cu and UA7 Cu can deliver one of the most pleasing tunings we ever did at Shanling.
Shanling M8T Cu retails at 1999 USD / 2199 EUR
Shanling UA7 Cu retails at 329 USD / 369 EUR
Both models will be available at Shanling distributors in second half of September.

Shanling M8T Cu weight at 549g, compared to 383g of normal version
Shanling UA7 Cu weight at 97.4g, compared to 48.5g of normal version
Also, we prepared a new limited-edition case for each copper model! Shanling M8T Cu will come with this case included in accessories, while UA7 Cu case will be sold separately.
