UMi Iron Pro pre-orders have started and here is how to secure one for yourself
With UMi Iron Pro officially announced by the company, you can now avail the opportunity to pre-order the first ever Android smartphone running three security features in a single device. More details about these features here.
UMi is an upcoming Chinese smartphone manufacturer that prices its handsets competitively in order to target a broader market and the company has done exactly that with its UMi Iron Pro. The handset is available for pre-order, at a very affordable price of $149.99.
Before pre-ordering, you will have to make sure which online retailers have it in stock. Currently, the ones that do have it with them are as follows:
Pre-order session of UMi Iron Pro will begin from November 9, and will go all the way up to November 15, giving you ample amount of time to place your order. Given the fact that the smartphone carries a price of less than $200, it should be very affordable for a large number of consumers. The highlights of owning UMi Iron Pro is that it is the very first smartphone to be running three security features. The first one is a fingerprint scanner present at the rear side, and apart from this, there is also an iris scanner and a voice recognition feature.
UMi was definitely generous in placing impressive hardware in Iron Pro because the smartphone is running a MediaTek MT6753 chipset with an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.3GHz. There is also 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, coupled with a high resolution 13MP rear camera sensor. The screen size of UMi Iron Pro is 5.5 inches and it gives off a resolution of 1080p.
For majority of consumers, Iron Pro presents the ideal price/performance ratio and security features to go along with it too.
