Amazfit Bip 2: Price, features and release date
In the vicinity of the launch of Amazfit Cor 2, on January 7, 2019, rumors have circulated about Amazfit Bip 2, the successor of the Sportwatch who got a good success last year. We discover the indiscretions, the images and the possible characteristics on this page dedicated to Amazfit Bip 2.
Technical features of Amazfit BIP 2
At the moment are not known the full specs, but the first rumors speak of really minimal news regarding Amazfit Bip 2, which should have a screen size very similar to those of Amazfit Bip, perhaps slightly stretched. At the moment some characteristics are known thanks to the certification issued by the FCC, which shows the presence of Bluetooth connectivity 4.2 and a battery of 200 mAh, slightly higher than the 190 mAh of the previous model. The IP68 certification also comes with resistance up to 5 atmospheres, which allows the smartwatch to be used even in the swimming pool. You will not miss the GPS to record various types of activities, such as rides, walks, treadmills and much more.
Xiaomi Amazfit Bip 2 design
The design of the Amazfit Bip 2 does not seem particularly different from that of the original model, with a rectangular screen, single button hardware on the right side and decidedly compact dimensions. The screen looks slightly stretched compared to the previous model and the new yellow color, which could be one of many variants available, seems to give a touch of freshness to the design. Also new for the charging base that seems to have a slightly different shape, because of the slightly varied size.
Amazfit Bip 2 software and functions
The software should be the same as the predecessor, with some small additions due to the presence of NFC connectivity. In particular, a part should be added to support payments and the use of public transport cards. The presence of a screen with a greater number of colors should allow Huami to create a more colorful interface, with details and accents of different color. It will also be possible to record the activities in the pool, thanks to the certification for dives up to 50 meters.
