Redmi X, Xiaomi’s first smartphone with pop-up selfie front camera & SD 855
Redmi, as Xiaomi’s independent brand, is advancing by leaps and bounds in the mobile market, which is not uncommon given the support behind it. The point is that while its focus is the mid-range market, it will dare to innovate with designs not seen so far in Xiaomi.
The rumors advanced it, and now the company advances the existence of Redmi X, Xiaomi’s first smartphone with pop-up front camera. The information comes from Weibo.
The details we can see is a screen with very small frames and the integration of the sliding front camera mechanism, specifically at the left end of the body of the device. Not mentioned, but the Redmi X will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855, an aspect confirmed by the company earlier.
This detail is important as it marks the company’s entry into a higher segment, even though since its emancipation from Xiaomi it was assured that its focus would be the mid-range, and all its variants.
However, what is important is Xiaomi’s entry into another growing design trend and Redmi’s entry into another market segment. We don’t know when its official presentation will be, but we could expect more details very soon, and as the day arrives let’s try to answer the question: will we see it in Mexico? Surely yes, seeing the remarkable interest of Xiaomi and Redmi in our country, recently starring Redmi Note 7.
