Xiaomi Mi Gaming Laptops 2019 are officially introduced
Despite the fact that the announcement of a new generation of gaming laptops Xiaomi occurred at the exhibition ChinaJoy 2019 on August 2, the official premiere of the new products took place only today. The company has not yet reported when the start of the sale of devices, but has disclosed all the technical details.
Appearance
Externally, Xiaomi Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 is no different from last year’s models: there is the same set of connectors, the same ventilation grilles, the same frame around the screen and the same keyboard. However, the color of the case became darker. The 15.6-inch screen still occupies 81% of the area, but now its frame rate is 144 Hz.
Interface
The notebooks are equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, two 3W loudspeakers each, 1MP webcams, four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, RJ-45 connector, HDMI video output, memory card reader and writer. Each notebook has a size of 364 x 265.2 x 20.9 mm and a weight of 2.6 kg, which is slightly smaller than last year’s models. Battery capacity is 55 watts, according to developers, the autonomy reaches 4.5 hours when playing videos or browsing the Internet.
Performance
The basic model received processor Core i5-9300H, GPU GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, 8 GB of RAM DDR4-2666 MHz, SSD in volume of 512 GB with interface PCIe. The middle level version has a Core i7-9750H processor and 16 GB of RAM. And in the top version of the 3D card GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is replaced by GeForce RTX 2060. However, far from the fact that the top configuration will be in demand for the simple reason that, according to the latest data, the mobile GeForce RTX 2060 surpasses the mobile GeForce GTX 1660 Ti in games by only 5-10%. While the difference between the desktop versions of these graphics cards is much greater.
Price
The basic version of Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 is estimated at $1080. The cost of the average version is $1240, the top version – $1300.
