3 ways help you fix Netflix connect issues on your smart TV
Netflix takes the lead of multimedia content platform. And smart TV is the most used platforms to visualize its contents. However, sometimes Netflix doesn’t work on our smart TV. Today, we have list three ways to solve this problem.
We can not explain every Netflix failure in a Smart TV because there are times when the error occurs by using a particular model, can be a connection problem or any other reason why the message appears on the screen of your TV indicating that you can not reproduce the content. Luckily, we have ways to fix it.
Close and reopen Netflix
Sometimes the application fails. It’s that simple. The app, like any other, may have some error, so simply close Netflix and reopen it to see if that solves the problem. If it still fails, you can try logging out of the media platform and re-enter your username and password. It’s a bit of a hassle, especially if the data hasn’t been saved and you don’t have a Smart TV keyboard, but possibly with this action, Netflix will work normally again.
Try restarting your Smart TV
It may seem like a very simple solution, but you don’t know how useful it is when Netflix doesn’t work. We’re not talking about turning your device on and off, we’re talking about unplugging it from the power supply and leaving it there for 5 minutes. There are models that have an option to download the Smart TV by pressing the power button for 5 seconds when it is disconnected, but as not all models have this option, it is better to leave it without power for a few minutes. This way you will have been able to restart your smart TV so that, if for whatever reason, Netflix gives problems in your Smart TV, the parameters will have been reset and could have solved the problem. Try again to use the application and confirm if it works.
Restart the router
The next step to try is to restart the router. This is a situation that has solved my problems to see Netflix content on my Smart TV more than once, so I recommend it. For it, the best thing is to disconnect the router one minute approximately, to connect it again and to wait until the television recovers the signal WiFi, but you have it connected by cable, to see if the problem is solved. If it continues to fail, try connecting the router to your TV via cable to confirm that it is not a problem with WiFi. Is it still failing? As a last option, try connecting to another WiFi network with your Smart TV. If you don’t have a network at hand, it’s as simple as creating an access point with your smartphone to test whether this way you can access Netflix.
