Bose portable speaker released: officially go on sale in September
For the last two years, Bose has been obsessed with outdoor portable wireless speakers, such as the previous SoundLink Revolve and SoundLink Micro series, which do appeal to outdoor party enthusiasts. Bose recently updated the product line with the introduction of Bose Portable Home Speaker portable wireless speakers.
Bose Portable appearance
Bose Portable uses a cylindrical design similar to SoundLink Revolve, 7.5×4 inches seems to be slightly larger than the SoundLink Revolve+, but the Bose Portable weight is controlled at 2.3 pounds, with the design of a portable handle. There is naturally no pressure to move indoors and outdoors. At the same time, it also has IPX4 waterproof grade, can resist Rain Water and domestic water splashing, coupled with 12 hours of endurance, fully in line with outdoor and party portable audio positioning.
The Bose Portable has a main sound unit built in, and an omni-directional sound reflector that can spread the sound 360 degrees. The design idea is the same as the SoundLink Revolve, which means that no matter what kind of relative position you are in with the Bose Portable Home Speaker, can get the best sound performance.
Supports Alexa AirPlay 2 and Google Assistant
In addition to the excellent sound diffusion design, Bose Portable also has two first-line intelligent voice assistants, Alexa and Google Assistant. Of course, Bose Portable also supports AirPlay 2, so there is no pressure to use it to wake up Siri. Of course, Bose Portable also supports stereo with the same model or products such as SoundLink Revolve and SoundLink Micro, but the OTA upgrade for this feature will probably not be pushed until next year.
Price of Bose Portable
Although the stereo won’t be available until next year, you’ll be able to buy the new Bose Portable wireless speaker for $349 in this September. Are the parties ready to update their speaker equipment?
