New ThinkSmart Hub Collaboration Solution from Lenovo…
New ThinkSmart Hub Collaboration Solution from Lenovo™ Helps Organizations Embrace Hybrid Working Model.
Lenovo announced a new generation ThinkSmart Hub offering a sleeker design in a smaller footprint. A premium all-in-one meeting room system, Hub delivers a richer audio experience with four improved speakers and microphones and a smarter single cable mechanism to reduce clutter. Featuring a new rotatable 10.1-inch Full HD touch display and more visible LED indicators, the new Hub is powered by an Intel® Core™ i5 processor with vPro® technology. Available for Microsoft Teams Rooms, the ThinkSmart Hub with the built-for-business Intel® vPro® platform keeps teams secure, productive and collaborative and offers businesses an easy to set up and use conferencing solution.
Hybrid Model for a Distributed Workforce
Remote working is not a new concept, but the transition to a more flexible “hybrid” working model has accelerated in recent months. A recent Lenovo survey shows that 52 percent of the global workforce expects to continue to work from home more than previously, and 63 percent feel they are more productive. Nevertheless, this new working model presents its own challenges, with efforts to achieve a proper work-life balance and maintaining personal connections with co-workers as top priorities. Technology has a critical part to play, and effective collaboration solutions can help maximize meeting efficiency and make employees feel more connected, either at home or for mission-critical office meetings.
All-New ThinkSmart Hub
Recent events have placed major question marks over the future of office spaces and what purpose they will serve. We believe those spaces and the technologies within ultimately must address the needs of the business and its employees. Longer term, offices may evolve into business centers, focused on collective meetings between workers, customers and partners, or businesses will implement flexible hybrid working models. Regardless of the scenarios, collaboration will remain mission-critical for engagement, creativity and productivity.
ThinkSmart Hub is an ideal collaboration device for office-based meeting spaces of varying sizes, from small huddle rooms to large conference spaces. Customer feedback and insight drove the redesign process resulting in a sleeker all-in-one solution with a 20% smaller footprint than its predecessor. The Hub includes four integrated speakers and microphones for the best audio experience and a 360-degree rotating touch display for easy access to Microsoft Teams Rooms meeting controls. Simple to deploy and manage, with ThinkSmart Manager, the new Hub offers an innovative One Cable I/O function that streamlines power, ethernet, USB and display connections, reducing desk clutter for more productive meetings.
ThinkSmart Hub is protected by Lenovo ThinkShield security and includes a three-year Lenovo Premier Support warranty. Smart Collaboration Managed Services1 are available to assist with scope, deployment, training, maintenance and management of all ThinkSmart devices.
