Topping U90, Flagship-Level USB Audio Bridge
Topping is a leading brand when it comes to high-quality desktop audio gear. They have a wide range of products including high-resolution audio decoders, headphone amplifiers, all-in-one DAC/Amps, and more. Topping has recently announced its flagship-grade USB bridge, the latest Topping U90. U90 is designed specifically to use with their premium A90+D90SE desktop chain but you can hook it up with any desktop chain that you own. A USB processor is a required device in high-end systems to precisely convey the audio signal from the USB source to the DAC chip. A USB bridge allows the users to put the input via USB and feed digital output to several DAC’s at the same time. It houses seven different output ports including I2S, Coaxial, and Optical.
Features
– IIS Controller.
– Seven different output ports.
– Supports IIS, AES, Coaxial, and Optical outputs.
– Self-designed Ultra-Low Jitter clock.
– In-Built USB Isolator.
– 12V Trigger.
Full IIS Controller, Unleash The Full Potential Of IIS Output
Topping has equipped the U90 with four sets of switches to set the IIS pin definitions. It allows the U90 to make the IIS output compatible with different brands with different transmission definitions. U90 also houses a mute pin in the IIS transmission, when used with Topping DAC’s that have IIS input, it reduces the pop-noise when switching the sampling rate. A true high-resolution IIS output is available with the U90 for you.
A Hub Full Of Different Output Options
Topping U90 is a flagship-level product featuring multiple output options for the users. It has 1x IIS, 2x AES, 2x Coaxial, and 2x Optical output options for the users. One can simply connect multiple DAC and AMP combinations with the U90, making it an optimal choice for both domestic and industrial use scenarios.
Top-Quality USB Transmission All-Ready For You
Topping U90 supports top-quality audio signal transmission with support for up to 32-Bit/768kHz PCM as well as native DSD512 support. It transmits the same bit depth over with IIS output, with Coaxial, AES, and Optical supports 24-Bit/192kHz and DSD64(DoP) transmission.
Built-In USB Isolator
Topping has designed the U90 USB bridge with an in-built isolator that effectively reduces the background noise introduced by the ground loop. This ensures a pure sound performance with the U90 in the chain.
Ultra-Low Jitter Clock
Topping U90 adopts a femtosecond crystal oscillator and CPLD processing for the digital clock architecture. It optimizes the digital signal with great precision achieving ultra-low jitter in the output signal.
Price & Availability
Topping U90 is available with us for 599$.
