I first went to System->About section to double check the system, and an Intel Celeron N3450 processor at 1.10 GHz and 6GB RAM are indeed on the system, with Windows 10 Home 64-bit edition preinstalled and activated with a digital license. The build number is was 1709 when I got it but it was easily updated to latest 1803 build 17134.81.
Storage Size & Speed
The Beelink AP34 Pro Mini PC comes with 64GB eMMC. Under Windows 10 Home edition Bing it was visible only 57,2 GB and 38GB of free space, after updating to 1803 build version. In CrystalDiskMark 6.0.0 the 64GB eMMC speed is not very fast, but good, the sequential read speed was 71.04 MB/s, and write speed 64.20 MB/s. The not so fast eMMC can be overcome through utilizing the available M.2 slot.
RAM
In the tests performed we verified how the 6 GB of DDR3 memory works at 1600 MHz and achieves a pretty good speed compared to the Single Channel models, it seems that this memory really works in Dual Channel mode. So what are the advantages of having 6GB RAM? Well it means the device works better as a mini PC, as it means you can use more memory-hungry applications like browser tabs.
Ethernet & Wifi speed
Beelink AP34 Pro Mini PC Gigabit Ethernet speed is just amazing, I got 454 / 416 Mbps in download and 256 /200 Mbps in upload. The 5Ghz WiFi speed is lower, but still very good – 275 Mbps in download and almost 265 Mbps in upload. The 2.4Ghz WiFi speed was over 53Mbps in download and over 51 Mbps in upload. The router used in this test is Xiaomi Mi WiFi Router.
BIOS
We can boot the BIOS from the system by pressing the ESC key repeatedly while restarting the miniPC, the system BIOS is quite limited and we can only change the boot system. As we have seen in this model we do not have auto power on when connecting it to the electrical network. The BIOS is very simplified with no access to features you might want to control in this device.
Drivers
In Windows 10 Home edition, all the drivers are properly installed. BTW, you can download Windows 10 Home 64-bit drivers archive for Beelink AP34 Pro from here or here. (AP34 PRO 5-28-2018 4-35-51 PM – 312 MB). Use the provided Double Driver application (as Admin) to simply restore the missing drivers from your collection, just locate it in the extracted folder. Archive non-Microsoft drivers content: Bluetooth, Display, DPTF, Image, MEDIA, Net & System.
