In Antutu Video Tester 3.0 HOMTOM C8 scores 674 points, this firmware version fully supported 14 video files, it partially supported 9 video files and didn’t managed to play 7 video file types.
Wifi Internet speed tested gets also pretty good values: over 42 Mbps in download and the upload speed was over 11 Mbps in 2.4G and over 57 Mbps in download / 12 Mbps in download in 5G band. The router used in this test is Xiaomi Mi WiFi Router, mounted in another room.
Conclusion
Android 8.1 Oreo OS on the HOMTOM C8 runs pretty well – transitions, animations, apps switching and general OS fluidity is good, the WiFi speed is very good also. During our tests, we experienced zero force closes, hangups or stability issues. Google Play and gapps are working without issue. Google Play Services updated no problem. 3rd party apps downloaded and updated without issues. HOMTOM C8 has now an amazing affordable price and very good value for the money, go ahead and buy it!
