Next, watch the first impressions and the experience on Android Marshmallow 6.0 stock firmware.
Model: AVA
Firmware tested: Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 stock
Firmware version: PROBOX2_AVA_20170605_20170605_1136
Board: kylin
Build number: PROBOX2_AVA_20170605
Kernel version: 4.1.17-ge602b33-dirty
Root: Firmware is rooted, you only have to install SuperSu or Super User, free from Google Play Store and update binaries.
Oher: The stock firmware runs very smooth and I didn’t find any problems. During my tests, I didn’t experienced any applications force closes and hangups. Google Play Store and gapps are working just fine. 3rd party apps downloaded and updated without issues.
Storage. Total Capacity: 16 GB. Internal Storage without OS: 9.70 GB,  Space available: 8.04 GB (82%). The device sees with no problem at all my Mixza Tohaoll 128GB SDXC Micro SD Memory Card and my Netac K330 1TB External HDD USB 3.0. I did also install  an internal SATA 2.5” 160GB HDD, with 2 partitions, and everything worked just perfect.
The launcher looks nice, with big and nice tiles, like in Windows 8.1 / 10 Metro style. There are a lot of good and useful preinstalled applications (Kodi, AirDroid, Netflix, HappyCast, Miracast) including also Play Store and Google applications (gapps). This firmware version has root acces.

In Antutu Benchmark 6.2.7 the device achieves a good score, over 35.800 points.

Gigabit speed for real – In real life the Ethernet speed is indeed a gigabit speed, with 887 Mbps in download and over 300 Mbps in upload, PROBOX2 AVA is one of the fastest Android TV Boxes out there on the market now days.
