Meet AceMagician AM06 Pro Mini PC
The AceMagician AM06 Pro Mini PC is a compact desktop computer with support for up to triple displays, two Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. It’s not the most powerful mini PC on the market, but it’s fairly versatile system with a beautiful design and silent operation. And it’s not expensive at all. Using the appropriate tools, the Acemagic AM06 Pro can be opened without any problems. There are 4 screws at the bottom, after removing them, the bottom cover can simply remove it.
The AMD R5 5600U integrates six of the eight cores based on the Zen 3 microarchitecture and is the third fastest U-series processor at launch. The cores are clocked at 2.3 (guaranteed base clock) to 4.2 GHz (Turbo) and support SMT for a total of 12 threads. The chip is manufactured on the modern 7 nm TSMC process. Zen3 debuted in AMD Ryzen 5000 series desktop processors. This comprehensive design overhaul delivered a further 19% IPC increase thanks to over 20 major changes, which included: wider and more flexible execution resources; significantly more load/store bandwidth to feed execution; and a streamlined front-end to get more threads in flight – and do it faster. It also transitioned to a new “unified complex” design that brought 8 cores and 32MB of L3 cache into a single group of resources. This dramatically reduced core-to-core and core-to-cache latencies by making every element of the die a next-door neighbor with minimal communication time. Latency-sensitive tasks like PC gaming especially benefited from this change, as tasks now have direct access to twice as much L3 cache versus “Zen 2.” Constructed on the same efficient 7nm manufacturing node as ‘Zen2’, Ryzen 5000 desktop processors increased the maximum clock speed to 4.9 GHz. With a TDP of 15 W, the Ryzen 5 5600U consumes very little energy. AMD’s processor supports DDR4 memory with a dual-channel interface. The highest officially supported memory speed is 3200 MT/s, but with overclocking (and the right memory modules) you can go even higher. For communication with other components in the machine, Ryzen 5 5600U uses a PCI-Express Gen 3 connection. This processor features the Radeon Vega 7 integrated graphics solution. Programs using Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) will run on this processor, boosting performance for calculation-heavy applications. Besides AVX, AMD is including the newer AVX2 standard, too.
The 16GB DDR4 memory also helps the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously, as well as access frequently-used files and programs. Files can be stored locally on the 512GB NVME SSD, while the 5 USB ports provide connections for multiple peripherals and accessories. We have also triple video output with HDMI 2.0, DP and USB Type-C outputs that allow us maximum video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz. Connect wireless peripherals with Bluetooth 4.2 and go online without any cables with Wi-Fi 5. Two Gigabit LAN port is also present, supporting a very fast wired Ethernet connection. It runs on the 64-bit Windows 11 Pro operating system out of the box.

AceMagician AM06 Pro Mini PC BIOS
The Ami BIOS of AceMagician AM06 Pro Mini PC is pretty rich in features and options. There are 5 tabs in settings, with a few options each: Main, Advanced, Security, Boot, Save & Exit. I have made a BIOS back-up, you can download it from here. I advise everyone to make a copy of a working BIOS, if possible, before doing BIOS experiments. To do that you can simple use the provided Aptio AfuWin64 software. If you disabled USB in the BIOS, or if you did another mess in device BIOS, only overwriting NVRAM can reset BIOS settings. In this way, there is no need to open the case, to teardown the device to be able to reset the CMOS. All the actions are made from Windows environment, so your Mini PC has to be able to boot into Windows. All the following actions that are you will do next are entirely at your own risk.
