Meet Fossibot F101 Rugged Smartphone
FOSSiBOT, a new brand from China, just launched their first huge battery rugged smartphone FOSSiBOT F101. Many people may not heard about this brand before. FOSSiBOT brand was established in Shenzhen, China in July 2022 by a team with more than 8 years experience in power station and rugged smartphones. FOSSiBOT released the portable power station FOSSiBOT F2400 in November last year, now it is the time for their first rugged smartphone FOSSiBOT F101.

The FOSSiBOT F101 is an IP68/IP69/MIL-STD-810G certified rugged smartphone which is water-proof, dust-proof and drop-resistance. For the design, the most obvious feature must be the huge speaker grille on the back top where the rear camera located. As a rugged smartphone, the speaker is of course IP68 waterproof. The speaker comes with 36mm diameter, bulky 11.5 CC sound cavity, and 3.5W peak power, offering up to 123dB loudness which is the world’s loudest speaker. The 3.5W peak power loud speaker is great for no missing calls and stereo sound music, having parties or scary away dangerous animals in the field, while HAC certified receiver is quite friendly for hearing-aid users.

Besides the big speaker, the FOSSiBOT F101 takes a 10,600mAh built-in li-polymer battery under the hood, with a smaller 5.45 inch HD+ display and low power consumption Helio A22 quad-core processor, F101 will work longer than expected. If you take it outside and only use it for standby, it can last 1050 hours which is nearly 44 days. F101 spots a 5.45 inch HD+ display with Dragontrail glass protected. The F101 supports press fingerprint on power button unlock and face ID unlock. There is also a custom button on the left for you to access the APP or function quickly.

The FOSSiBOT F101 is an entry level rugged phone but comes with highlighting features. FOSSiBOT F101 is running at 4GB of RAM and offers 64GB internal storage, it supports 128GB expansion. It also comes with an 8MP front camera and 24MP PDAF+5MP+0.3MP rear camera which is normally not seen on other same memory smartphones. The front camera is 8MP with wide angle. BTW, the WiFi speed tested was up to 300 Mbps, which is pretty fast.
